In 5 hard fought battles, Charon Clute's U12 BB Barrie Colts again, went undefeated at the OMHA Championships in Whitby this past weekend!
A win in a challenging Semi-final game against the Tri County Champions, Oakville Rangers Saturday night led to the Sunday finals against a hungry Milton Winterhawks team.
The boys were locked and loaded as they prepared to play the biggest game of hockey they had ever played thus far! Cheers and pep talks could be heard from the dressing room as they laced up their skates one last time in the 2023-2024 season!
The Colts were down 1-0 heading into the second period when Travis Reeves blasted a successful shot from the blue line! Not long after, Levi Rampton's game winning goal gave the Colts a 2-1 lead! Reeves sealed the deal at 7:14 in third with another huge shot from the blueline putting the team up by 2!
Thank you to the parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who cheered on the most wonderful group of boys and coaches this season!
