Minor Peewee Outdoor Game
On December 18th 2018, Barrie Minor Peewee Select played the East York Bull Dogs under the stars in an outdoor rink at Dieppe Park. For most of the Barrie team, this was a first experience and an experience that will not be forgotten. Barrie came out strong in the first period with 4 goals scored by Josh Conrad, Nicholas Coombs, Roy Glazer and Nathan McAlpine. Barrie gave back three goals to East York but was able to hang onto the 4-3 win thanks to some incredible saves by goaltenders Cole Jackson and Nicholas Weidmann. Immediately following the game players were invited to showcase their highlight moves in a fun shootout.A special thanks to East York for their warm hospitality which definitely helped to take the chill out of a cold night.
