Atom, 2015-2016, BB (Barrie Minor Hockey)

The Larway Transportation Atom AE team skated at the International Silverstick Final in Pelham, Ontario this past weekend and after four days and six games came up just short losing 2-1 in the finals against the Halton Hills Thunder.

The Larway Transportation Atom AE team rolled through this past weekend in Georgina winning the Regional Silverstick Championship and earning the opportunity to compete in the International Finals in Pelham, Ontario. The team was perfect through the tournament going 3-0 in the round robin.  Sunday's semi-final saw a group of determined boys.  Their business-like approach, preparation and focus was unmatched as they faced off against a strong Whitby Wildcats team. The Larway Transportation Atom AE team donated their time on Saturday, 28 November helping the Salvation Army with their annual Christmas Kettle drive.  The team was assigned locations at the Bayfield and Kozlov Malls from 12-8pm and raised $1,284.40.  The boys represented their team and the Barrie Minor Hockey association with class and pride in the spirit of giving back to their community.  Thanks to the parents who volunteered to supervise for the day.  The drive was a tremendous success and helped the Salvation Army in reaching their goal for the Christmas season.
