Novice, 2016-2017, AA (Barrie Minor Hockey)

The Novice AA Retro Planet Barrie Colts had another impressive tournament performance at their home Glenn Bellerby/Moose Winooski's AA Tournament. The team went undefeated through round robin play against tough competition. 

The Novice AA Barrie Colts travelled to Ottawa this past weekend to participate in the 13th Annual Ottawa Senators Novice Holiday Classic tournament. The Colts went undefeated throughout the tournament, outscoring their opposition by a combined score of 27-6.

The OHL Barrie Colts and six BMHA Barrie Colts hockey teams competed in the 2016 Coach4Food Challenge and raised a total of 32,522 pounds of food for The Barrie Food Bank.  The BMHA Novice AA team finished in first place by donating 11,897 pounds of food – more than double the total weight of the second place team’s donation.  With the Novice AA team’s donation alone, The Barrie Food bank will be able to fill food orders to feed 365 local families for a month! 

The Barrie Novice AA Hockey Team scored valuable resources for the Barrie Food Bank through their 'One Team - One Goal' food drive.  

On Saturday October 22nd, the Barrie Colts Novice AA team took part in Century 21’s annual ‘Skate with the Colts Pancake Breakfast’ in support of Easter Seals Barrie.
