Congratulations to a Atom Select team very well deserving of being called Champions. This team is an amazing example of what hard work and dedication look like. They did everything that they were asked to do this weekend. They played with heart and respect. Not just this weekend but for the entire season. A big thank you goes out to all the parents for your dedication this season. "I am sorry we don't have enough teams in your Atom/Squirt division. Would you mind playing up in Pee Wee? You would be playing an major/minor mix of kids."" Yes we will play and not only will we play up, we will finish 3rd over all in the tournament, we will play your championship winner in the semi-finals and only lose 2-0 making it their toughest game of the tournament. And we will do all this with our heads high, a smile on our faces, knowing what we have done, making ourselves, our parents and our coaching staff PROUD, and Representing BMHA with Honor and Pride."

On mar 13th, 14th and 15th the Barrie Colts Atom RS Team travelled to Niagara Falls to take part in the Ange Giajnorio Winter Thaw Memorial Tournament. The day started off tough with a 1-1 tie to Chekode, the second game was very well played for the victory over Whitby 4-3. The next day was an excellent display of hockey by the boys beating Stouffiville 8-0, this had the boys finish 1st in their division and moving on the semi's where they faced the host team and beating them 9-0.
