The Barrie Sports Medicine Atom AE Colts are International Silver Stick champions!
The boys came out strong with 5-0 and 14-1 wins over Napanee and Long Island. A loss to Milton put us into 2nd place heading into the quarterfinals, but they responded with 7-0 wins over Dorchester and Saugeen Shores to make it to the final game against the Colorado Evolution.
We knew that the finals were going to be tough, but the boys responded to the challenge with teamwork, perseverance, grit and spirit leading us to a sudden death overtime victory of 4-3!
Every single player gave everything they had all weekend long - we are SO proud of you! The memories that were made will last a lifetime. Go Colts go!
