U13, 2023-2024, AA (Barrie Minor Hockey)

The U13AA team opened their doors and hearts to host the Finland Tigers for the Glen Bellerby Hockey Tournament this weekend. Both teams pushed through meeting each other in the finals! Proudly the Colts took home the silver medal, this is a testament to the hard work and dedication they displayed as a team all weekend.  Finland finishes strong in the finals taking home the gold medal. They were first on the ice and in our hearts. Despite the final score not being in our favor, the camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed by both teams made it feel like a victory in itself. In an intense battle against the Nepean Raiders, these Colts exhibited exceptional skill, determination, and team work to secure this outstanding 3-1 victory and bringing home the Championship title! In addition to the championship victory, the team got the opportunity to experience playing on an outdoor rink. This is an incredible accomplishment and we couldn't be prouder of the players and coaches.  They have set the bar high and shown us the true meaning of determination and achievement!  This victory is just the beginning of greater things to come!
