Atom, 2014-2015, BB (Barrie Minor Hockey)

In a fantastic end to a very successful season the TNR Industrial Doors Atom AE team won Gold at the York Simcoe/Lakeshore Cup to finish as Champions. After winning the first game in a 2-0 shutout Barrie was faced with a do or die Peterborough Petes who put up a solid attack and won the second game 2-1.  As a result a 10 minute Overtime period was played to a 0-0 draw which lead to a Shootout to determine the winner. Barrie shooters prevailed 2-0. It was an exciting end to a great season!

Congratulations TNR Industrial Doors Atom AE  York Simcoe Champions! After losing the first two games in the series the boys showed tremedous character to come back and win three games straight.  What's the best kinda win..... Well done boys!

One day my Montreal Canadiens Sweater was too small..... Last Thursday the coaches challenged the Atom AE team that they would wear a hockey sweater of either the Maple Leafs or Canadiens at next practice and agreed to pose for a team picture if they clinched a berth in the YS Finals. True to their word, today at at practice, ardent Habs fans Coach Jim and Coach Dave donned the blue and white and ardent Leafers Coach Jamie and Coach Nick donned the blu, blanc et rouge. Go Colts Go in the finals.

Congratulations Colts on a great effort!  A super five games this weekend! The boys played hard in five games losing to TNT in the final in a back and forth game.
