Young Colts out of the Gate 2-0 on the season….
The Novice Selects scored early and often when
they visited Aurora to play the Tigers this past Sunday evening.
The Wesley Blewett, Chase Marshall, Arjun Uppal line would rack up 6 pts throughout the night opening the scoring a second shy of the 2 min mark of the first period. The defensive end of the line-up played a great game as well preventing the Tigers from enjoying any sustained pressure in the Colts end. Defensive player Mackenzie McLean played her best game of the season and earned the Hardest Worker of the game award. Goalie Dayson Bress made key saves when called upon and recorded his first ever Select Shutout. When time expired in the third period Barrie would see scoring from 7 different players making the final 8-0. Next game will be Home against the Uxbridge Bruins Saturday December 10th at the Stroud Arena with puck drop at 5:30PM.
