The Barrie Colts U15 A Blue team goes undefeated in the 2023
CCM Nations Cup in Detroit.
The Colts went a perfect 4-0 in round robin play with
decisive wins over PSM Force Blue, Romeoville Huskies, Jackson Melling and
Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Blue team was seeded in the second spot and was matched
up against the Toledo Cherokee on Championship Sunday. The game was close after 20 minutes but the Colts were able to score four times in
the second period and used the energy from the Canadian fans to help propel them
to a 5-1 win.
All Canadian teams in the 2009 Mathews division won on
Sunday – helping Canada claim the title over the USA!
