U16, 2022-2023, MD (Barrie Minor Hockey)

Last weekend the U16 MD team took first place at the Oakville Winter Classic tournament.  The team battled hard in round robin all the way through to the finals. Congratulations to all players and coaches.

Our U16MD team did a great job making the holiday season shine a little brighter for residents of Woods Park Care Centre!  A special thank-you to Michelle Jackson for organizing this event!

On December 19th, 534 pounds of food and other essential items was dropped off at the Barrie Food Bank.  All U16 MD players took part in collecting for the holiday season and they are very proud to help support our great community.   A special thank you to Jessica Biga-Wadstein for helping to organize this event.  

On Saturday December 3rd, parents from the U16 MD team participated in a blood drive with Canadian Blood Services.  Collectively the team was able to provide enough blood to help up to 12 people in our community.  What a great way to give back and to help others. Thank-you to all the parents who donated, and a big shout out to Jessica Biga-Wadstein for organizing the event.
