Minor Bantam, 2015-2016, AA (Barrie Minor Hockey)

Capping off an exceptional year, the Joe Johnson Equipment Minor Bantam AA Barrie Colts have won the OHMA Championship.  In the final game, the Colts made a statement by outshooting their opponents 49 to 19, defeating the Center Wellington Fusion 4-1 and sweeping the series. The team had a record of 12-1-1 during the playoffs, playing disciplined team-first hockey.

Between January 14-17, the Joe Johnson Equipment Minor Bantam AA Barrie Colts went undefeated over six games to win the International SilverStick Championship.  The team qualified for the "Tournament of Champions" by winning the Alliston Regional Tournament in late-December.

Between December 27-29, the Joe Johnson Equipment Minor Bantam AA Barrie Colts celebrated the holidays for BMHA by going undefeated over five games to win the SilverStick Regional Tournament in Alliston.  The team defeated the Whitby Wildcats in a hard-fought final game to prevail 2-0.  By winning this Championship, the team moves on to play in the "Championship of Champions" at the prestigious International SilverStick Event over the January 15th weekend.
