U12, 2022-2023, Select (Barrie Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to the U12 Select Barrie Colts on their GOLD at the Year Ender Bender Tournament in Stouffville. The Colts went undefeated in the round robin against Oakville, Oshawa and Kingston. They met Kingston again in the semi-finals and battled hard, coming out on top with a 6-3 win. It was on to the finals where they played against a determined Stouffville team. The Colts found themselves down 1-0 in the first but they kept up the pressure, playing one of their best games of the season, and came out with a 6-2 victory! It was another great weekend of hockey for the U12 Select Team. They went undefeated in the round robin beating Kingston Canadians, Oshawa Hawks and Oakville Rangers scoring an impressive 31 goals and only giving up 1 goal.   They met Oshawa Hawks in the semi-finals and played another strong game, coming out with a 9-0 win. Congratulations to the Barrie Colts U12 Select Team for bringing home GOLD at the Bradford Blue and Gold Classic Tournament this weekend!! In their first tournament of the season, they hit the ice flying. They went undefeated in the round robin, beating Halton Hills, Waterloo and George Bell. They met Waterloo in the finals where Barrie continued to play incredible hockey and came out with an impressive 7-1 win! Congratulations to all of the boys for playing so well this weekend.
